TechInAsia have published a story about Ecoxyztem, a venture builder for startups engaged in the environment and climate tech sector, who have received an undisclosed amount of funding from Pegasus Tech Ventures, PT TAP Applied Agri Services, PT Conservation Hutan Indonesia, and angel investor Roni Pramaditia, who is the Chair of the Medco Foundation, to develop at least four startups and to reach more businesses in the climate tech sector who contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia.
“In accordance with its work pillars, Ecoxyztem tries to provide quality human resources, assistance in the form of venture architects for business modelling, and supports market penetration by business matchmaking, as well as raising capital,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Ecoxyztem Jonathan Davy as quoted from Industry.
Formed in May 2021, Ecoxyztem is a joint venture between Greeneration Indonesia and social impact consulting firm Impacteam. Ecoxyztem already has four portfolios:
- Waste4Change, a waste management startup,
- ReservoAir, a startup provider for flood solutions,
- Internet of Things (IoT) developer startups to drive Ravelware’s green industry transition, and
- Enertec, an energy efficiency management service provider startup.
Ecoxyzem also launched a number of programs to reach more startups in the climate-tech sector, such as Circular Jumpstart, Urban Innovation Challenge, and Climate Innovation League.
President Director of Ecoxyztem, Bijaksana Junerosano, revealed that the formation of his company started from concerns about rapid environmental damage.
“Through the venture builder development model, we believe it will be able to encourage the creation of more innovative solutions to address environmental problems around us,” said Bijaksana Junerosano.
