An in vitro fertilization (IVF) service center is set to launch soon within the Sanur Special Economic Zone in Bali, as part of a broader initiative to elevate the Island of the Gods into a premier destination for global health and wellness tourism.
This site presents a distinctive blend of cutting-edge IVF technology and a serene tropical environment that fosters holistic recovery, both physically and emotionally.
“This is an important milestone for the transformation of Indonesian health tourism,” said Christine Hutabarat, President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN), in Denpasar on Tuesday (October 7, 2025).
At the outset, HIN, serving as the Development and Management Entity for the Sanur Special Economic Zone, is collaborating with Alpha IVF, a Malaysian fertility clinic network, through a land lease agreement.
Providing further insight into the fertility service center in Sanur, Christine explained that the facility will offer a full spectrum of fertility-related services, encompassing in vitro fertilization (IVF), obstetrics, gynecology, and integrated care for women and children.
The IVF landscape in Indonesia is currently experiencing encouraging growth. Establishing a fertility center in Bali not only meets domestic demand but also holds strong potential to draw patients from across Southeast Asia, especially from nations like Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
