On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Hindu community in Bali continued to enjoy the Umanis Galungan holiday.
This moment falls on the second day of Galungan, where Hindus perform the Natab Sesayut ritual and continue with the tradition of visiting relatives to forgive each other.
To ensure a sense of security and comfort for the community during Umanis, the Badung Police deployed personnel to several coastal tourist attractions.
The areas of focus are Pererenan Beach, Munggu Beach, Cemagi Beach, Seseh Beach, Petitenget Beach, and Batubolong Beach.
“In addition to providing security, personnel on guard duty are expected to encourage visitors to participate in maintaining security and order in the coastal area,” said Police Commissioner Gusti Sudarsana.
In addition to the Badung Police, several other regional police stations, such as those in Abiansemal and Mengwi, were also observed deploying personnel to busy areas such as intersections and Hindu temples.
The series of Galungan holiday celebrations is synonymous with increased public mobility. Therefore, the presence of police personnel is very necessary to prevent disturbances.
