The Badung Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) predicts that Bali will be crowded with domestic tourists during the 2023 Eid holiday, with as many as 18 to 20,000 domestic tourists expected to arrive per day, according to the Head of PHRI Badung I Gusti Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya and reporting from Detik Bali.
Reflecting on previous years, domestic tourists will not take more than five days of vacation time in Bali. However, domestic tourist visits at least contributed to an increase in occupancy.
“Usually many people use private cars, the outer plates of cars will be seen in Bali. Likewise, if tourist visits increase via air flights, there will also be a lot of travel cars near holidays,” he predicts.
According to him, domestic tourists rarely book hotel rooms in advance. Therefore, the increase in occupancy orders does not seem significant at this time, and usually it will start to get crowded on the D-2 of the Eid holiday, say Detik Bali.
“Because finding hotels in Bali is easy. The number of visits on weekdays reaches 13,000 to 15,000 per day,” he said.
In contrast to the visits of foreign tourists who will look significant during the winter holidays. Foreign tourists will come to tropical countries, such as Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia.
