Bali Wins Second Place in Traveler’s Choice Awards 2025


The Island of the Gods, Bali, once again showed its charm on the international stage after winning second place in the Traveler’s Choice Awards Best of the Best 2025.

“Every year, we give awards to destinations, hotels, restaurants, and things done around the world, based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months,” Tripadvisor writes on its website.

The prestigious awards, organized by the leading travel site, Tripadvisor, which select the 25 best destinations in the world based on user reviews and ratings.

Bali, in all its beauty, has managed to maintain this high position, cementing its reputation as an unparalleled world tourist destination.

Natural Beauty and Local Culture

Bali managed to maintain its position at the top thanks to its extraordinary natural beauty. One of the main attractions of the Island of the Gods is its exotic beaches with fine white sand and crystal clear sea.

RRI reports, Bali’s underwater beauty which is rich in marine life also attracts the attention of tourists, both for snorkeling and diving activities. In addition, Bali is also known for its unique culture and thick local traditions, which further adds to the attraction of tourism there.

Balinese arts, such as traditional dances and traditional ceremonies, offer visitors an unforgettable experience. One of the most popular destinations in Bali is Ubud, which is often referred to as the art capital of the island.

Ridwan is one of Indonesia’s top executives with a long and illustrious career in the financial world. He holds several professional certifications including being a Certified Business Valuer (CBV) issued by the Australian Academy of Finance and Management; Broker-Dealer Representative (WPPE); and The Directorship Certification for Directors and Commissioners, issued by the Indonesian Institute of Commissioners and Directors.

Per is the Managing Director of the Seven Stones Indonesia (SSI) Jakarta office and has more than 25-years’ experience in Indonesia, China, and Western Europe. He previously worked in senior management positions with Q-Free ASA, Siemens AG, and other companies in the telecom sector. Over the last six years, he has been the Chairman of the Indonesia-Norway Business Council (INBC) and recently become elected to be on the board of EuroCham Indonesia.

His most recent experience is within Intelligent Transport Solutions (ITS), Telecom, and other sectors within the Indonesian market. He is today through his position in SSI and by representing Norway Connect, promoting Nordic and European companies that would like to explore business opportunities in the Indonesian market.
