Bali’s Wellness Living: The Future of Health-Focused Homes

If you’ve been in Bali for a while, you’ve probably noticed a new kind of development appearing across the island. It’s not just more beach clubs or another trendy hotspot . Wellness living is becoming a major influence in Bali’s property market, offering homes designed to support health, balance, and connection to nature. These properties go beyond luxury, focusing on eco-friendly design, natural ventilation, and spaces for relaxation and mindfulness.

After the pandemic, a lot of people started rethinking how (and where) they want to live. Bali became a favorite spot for remote workers, long-term travelers, and expats looking for a better work-life balance.

Now, developers are catching up to that lifestyle shift. According to the Ministry of Tourism, wellness-focused travel to Bali jumped 30% in 2024 — and that interest is spilling into the property world.

So, What Is Wellness Living?

Wellness living is all about creating a home that nurtures your body and mind, making everyday life more balanced and fulfilling. Whether it’s through thoughtful architecture, natural elements, or intentional spaces, these homes are designed to support well-being in a way that feels effortless. That means:

  • Good airflow and natural light
  • Green spaces for relaxing or doing yoga
  • Thoughtful design that helps you slow down and feel balanced

Spotlight: The Ease Canggu

If you’re after a slice of wellness without going off-grid, The Ease Canggu (also known as Bali Easy Living) is worth a look.

  • Location: Gang Lely, a peaceful corner of Canggu
  • Property type: Private 1–3 bedroom villas with private pools
  • Wellness perks: Close to fitness centers like Nirvana Life, Soma Fight Club, and AWOL Fitness, plus it’s just minutes to Berawa and Echo Beach.

What makes it wellness-friendly?

  • Clean, spacious designs with lots of natural light
  • Private pools for movement and relaxation
  • Quiet surroundings while still being close to cafes and studios
  • Optional in-villa spa services and daily housekeeping

Guests love the balance of comfort and convenience — plus the staff gets high praise for attentiveness and friendliness. Whether you’re working remotely, settling down long-term, or just taking a break, this place gives you room to breathe.

Is Wellness Living Just a Trend?

Actually, no. The global wellness real estate market is booming. It doubled between 2019 and 2023 and is expected to top USD 913 billion by 2028.

People aren’t just buying homes anymore. They’re investing in how they want to live. If you’re someone who came to Bali for a slower pace, better health, and a sense of peace, then wellness living might be exactly what you’re looking for.

It’s not just about real estate — it’s about making your lifestyle part of your home.
