As a world‑class tourist destination, Bali is not only a holiday spot for travelers. The Island of the Gods also offers a wide variety of culinary experiences worth trying — from traditional Balinese dishes to international cuisine from many countries.
According to data from Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency, the accommodation and food services sector contributed the largest share to Bali’s economy. In the second quarter of 2026, the industry accounted for 21.91% of Bali’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).
The rapid growth of the culinary business has become the driving force behind Bali Interfood 2026. Now in its seventh edition, the exhibition takes place on September 2–4, 2026 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Nusa Dua.
“The Bali Interfood exhibition opening today is not just about showcasing products. It is a highly strategic platform for entrepreneurs to strengthen business networks, boost creativity, and enhance competitiveness,” said Tjok Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati, Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association Bali chapter, on Monday, August 31, 2026 in Denpasar.
Bali Interfood 2026 presents a wide range of food and beverage industry needs, including raw materials, bakery and pastry, coffee, wine and spirits, horeca, catering services, processing equipment, as well as packaging technology and solutions.
This year’s event features 110 exhibitors, including 35 SMEs from eight countries — Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, and France — with a target of 15,000 visitors.
Held alongside Bali Hotel & Tourism, Bali Coffee Expo, Bali Wine & Spirit, and Bakery Indonesia Expo 2026, visitors can enjoy a variety of programs, from the Gelato World Cup competition and culinary workshops to business‑matching sessions for hotel, restaurant, and café operators.
Tjok Oka emphasized that the exhibition is a timely opportunity to strengthen hospitality and restaurant business networks.
“The Bali Interfood exhibition opening today is not just about showcasing products. It is a highly strategic platform for entrepreneurs to strengthen business networks, boost creativity, and enhance competitiveness,” he reiterated.
Visitors can register online through the official Bali Interfood 2026 website, or on‑site during the event. Admission is Rp100,000, valid for three‑day access.
