Bali ‘s Ngurah Rai Airport is targeting services for 11-million domestic and international passengers in 2022, according to the airport’s General Manager, Handy Heryudhitiawan, who also welcomed the return of the Kuala Lumpur to Bali route.
“We hope that the reactivation of the Kuala Lumpur – Denpasar – Kuala Lumpur route by Air Asia X can have a positive impact on traffic growth at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport,” he said in an official statement quoted on Friday 25 November 2022, say IndoBaliNews.
In its first landing, the Air Asia X aircraft carried 227-passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar and flew back to Kuala Lumpur with 325-passengers on board.
According to Handy the route will serve flights three times a week; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
