According to reporting from Antara News, State-owned PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN) is inviting domestic and foreign investors to develop and strengthen facilities and services in the Health Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Sanur, Bali.
“We are optimistic that the Sanur SEZ can attract well-known investors from Indonesia and various countries to work together,” PT HIN President Director Christine Hutabarat remarked here on Friday.
She explained that there are six lots in the Sanur SEZ that have a total area of 41.26-hectares.
Some of the health services that will be offered at Sanur SEZ are aesthetic medical services, plastic surgery, stem cell services, and elderly patient care services, say Antara News.
She remarked that the Sanur SEZ will also cover fertility services, hair transplants, and other services that will be supported by advanced technology.
The strategy applied in Sanur SEZ is expected to accommodate the diverse needs of health care in Indonesia.
Antara News report Hutabarat pointed out that PT HIN collaborates with state-owned hospital holding Pertamina Bina Medika (IHC) to build the Bali International Hospital (BIH) in Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Sanur SEZ.
The international hospital is planned to be equipped with the latest technology for cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology and hepatology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology services, as well as comprehensive health examinations.
“One of the big plans is to bring the latest technology machines that do not yet exist in Indonesia and also bring in various specialist doctors from abroad in line with IHC’s collaboration with Mayo Clinic,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, her side also plans to collaborate with investors to develop a center of aesthetic services, plastic surgery, stem cells, and fertility services in Lot 3 that covers an area of 19,000 square meters.
The Sanur SEZ is expected to contribute significantly to regional economic growth in Bali and the nation.
