According to reporting from Aviacion Online, Emirates is to introduce a second daily Airbus A380 flight on the Dubai-Bali route from September 1 until October 26, to meet the high demand during peak season. The Super Jumbo replaces the current Boeing 777 operation on EK398/EK399 flights.
This aircraft change builds on Emirates’ first Airbus A380 service to Indonesia which commenced on June 1, 2023, and at the same time will encourage more inbound traffic to Bali during the busiest times of the year and connect customers from Indonesia to Dubai and beyond through Emirates’ extensive global network.
By offering twice-daily flights on the A380, the airline provides more than 2,600 weekly seats to and from Bali, says Aviacion Online.
Emirates launched its daily non-stop service between Dubai and Bali in 2015 complementing its scheduled flights to Jakarta, which started in 1992.
Emirates now operates to more than 144 destinations on six continents and currently provides two daily flights to Jakarta.
