Garuda TV are reporting that the Bali International Air Show (BIAS) 2024, the first international aerospace exhibition in the country for thirty years, will begin on Wednesday (18/9/24,) and will take place at the General Aviation Terminal, South Apron, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar. This prestigious exhibition is targeted to attract around 6,000 visitors from various countries, marking Indonesia’s rise as an important player in the global aerospace industry.
In a press conference held in Nusa Dua on Tuesday (17/9/24,) the Deputy for Coordination of Maritime Sovereignty and Energy of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Jodi Mahardi, said that BIAS 2024 is the first aerospace exhibition since Indonesia last held it in 1986 at Kemayoran Airport and 1996 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
Garuda TV reports that BIAS 2024 will feature world-class displays from renowned exhibitors including Airbus, Bell, Brahmos, Dassault, MBDA, Textron Aviation, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, and title sponsor, Pertamina.
